SHURTAH is an Arabic
word meaning “Police”. Members of this club
are Nobles belonging to El Katif Shrine
Center, A.A.O.N.M.S and other Nobles of any
recognized A.A.O.N.M.S. Center in good
standing. |

This club was
organized in 2003. The membership
requirements are that the Noble must have
served as a sworn, commissioned member of
any City, County, State, Federal Law
Enforcement Agency or other Agency’s with
power of arrest. |

Our Mission Statement
is: |

A. |
To assist in the
furtherance of programs of Shriner’s
Hospitals for children as well as the
programs and wishes of the Potentate, El
Katif Shrine. |

B. |
To provide security
services upon request of the Potentate, El
Katif Shrine. |
|
C. |
To foster a spirit of
Patriotism and Love of Country for which all
members of this Club have served. |
|
D. |
To perpetuate the
memory of those Law Enforcement Officers
within this shrine Center jurisdiction who
have died in the line of duty, and to
participate as a uniformed body in
officially organized community memorial
services within its jurisdiction. |
